What You Can Expect Your Tap Handle To Look Like

Creating a custom wooden tap handle is the best way to up your game! The last thing we want is for you to be disappointed in your branded beer tap handles. Here is a quick guide for what you can expect from our custom tap handles.

While very similar, because it is made of wood each one will vary slightly in color, grain texture, and dimension (due to beveling and rounded edges). Some may have some slight uneveness on the surface face from the varnish. These tiny differences may result in small shifts in your artwork. We print a white undercoat so occasionally you may see light edges on fine type or detail. Because the wood has a color to it, some shades of color may not show very well on it (such as light orange, see below). 

Shifts

Because it is such a small area you may notice some small shifts in the print. Given the current print-on-demand technology, we cannot print every single tap perfectly without any shifting of images. So please be aware your tap image may shift slightly.

The image is clear and readable, just shifted slightly up, over or even slightly skewed. Most people will look at these taps and be impressed that your personal message is on them and how great your artwork is!  For custom, small-run Tap Handles, we feel these handles are a great addition to any tap, even with a slight shift in artwork.  
To craft the best looking tap handle possible, follow our tips below.

White Underprint Showing

Occasionally on fine detail and type you may see some of the white underprint showing. It is deemed acceptable if you cannot see it at an arm's length away. 

Wood Grain Showing

Occasionally in solids (usually lighter colors such as white, or cream) you may see some dark wood grain. If it occurs it should be very subtle.
